An FFL is NOT required for purchase of this tube but be advised that it is a violation of ATF/NFA rules to possess a compatible 60mm cup (receiver) and a 60mm tube (barrel) at the same time without an ATF approved Form 1 or Form 4 for the 60mm mortar (or have a Type 10 Federal Firearms License). New made 60mm M2 mortar tube/barrel. Machined to USGI specs from 4130 chrome-moly steel tube, then precision honed. We perform fitment test to a USGI cup, as well as test-firing the units before they ship. Minor imperfections and handling marks might be present from test-fitment and test-firing. We only guarantee fitment to cups that we manufacture, as well as USGI cups that do not have any thread damage. Tubes are currently raw steel, unfinished, with a coat of oil to prevent oxidation and rust to the exterior of the barrel, as well as the bore.
Upon request, we can prime or paint the barrel prior to shipment, otherwise, they will be shipped covered in the anti-rust preservative.
